SatoshiPay - Definition from the Hotspot Shield Encyclopedia
SatoshiPay is a private company that was created to process nanopayments, usually through the Bitcoin digital currency. Small Bitcoins units are called Satoshi's in reference to the pseudonym of the original creator of the currency system.
The company aims to create a platform where users can pay a small fee (such as one satoshi) to download, read, watch and listen to stored content. The platform uses a two-way system where on one side, providers will upload media, and on the other side, customers will be able to access this media for a small fee. The payment system of Satoshi is unique in that it allows users to pay for specific sections of the content i.e. if a user is reading an article, they can allot to pay for only the paragraphs they want to read instead of the whole article.
