Hate speech can apply to a broad range of subjects but typically involves a person, group or organization speaking out against a certain subject in a manner that is deemed hateful, harsh and derogatory.
Hate speech could be directed against a group of people's religion, race, appearance, sexuality or even political inclination. Basically anything that makes them different or that someone else doesn't agree with. Hate speech will involve hurtful language that is often obscene and portrays the subject in a really negative way. This form of speech will be used to instill hatred against the subject using shock tactics and preying on peoples fear. Hate speech is highly frowned upon and it is mainly used by extreme political groups or individuals with extreme views that are often not accepted by the general public.
