Shadow is a privacy platform that is open source and uses a peer to peer system.
The platform includes a built in cryptocurrency, e-commerce facilities and encrypted messaging. Shadow was created as a for of Bitcoin and sought to build upon the core functionality of Bitcoin by adding increased security and anonymity features such as dual-key strength addresses and ring-signatures.
The shadow platform has ShadowChat which is a messaging service - This service allows for secure communications. Another main feature of the Shadow software is that it is fully compatible with the Tor Anonymity Network and can be used as an anonymous service.
