CyberPatriot - Definition from the Hotspot Shield Glossary

This is a education program created by the United States of America to encourage students to take up careers in cyber security or other areas of technology and engineering.

The concept was established in 2009 and is now in its eight season - The program is open to all schools around the country. The program takes the form of a competition which is held at various levels of education and will involve finding flaws in computer systems while still maintaining the devices functionality. The culmination of the program is the National Finals competition which gives out scholarship grants to the winners; the competition involves digital crime scene challenges, Cisco Networking challenges and Digital Forensics Challenges.
