This was a campaign created in 2006 by Amnesty International and The Observer to protest against internet censorship. The campaign featured both a pledge and a website. The pledge was signed by visitors to the website and was against repression on the internet - 50000 signatures were gained and the pledge was presented to the UN internet governance forum.
The website http://irrepressible.info was created to allow people to upload information from censored websites so it could be viewed, and so that more information about the censorship could be gathered. The website has since been removed and now redirects to Amnesty Internationals own website, but the campaign was considered a success and helped raise awareness of internet censorship.
