Corporate censorship - Definition from the Hotspot Shield Encyclopedia

Corporate Censorship is where a business or organization will actively censor their employees and use bullying tactics to threaten them with loss of employment, loss of money or trade options etc.

A company may not agree with their employee's ideals or publications and may want to stop them from speaking out or making a certain document or viewpoint public. They will attempt to pressure the individual and prevent them from proceeding with their course of action. Examples of corporate censorship include Music publishers preventing their musicians from releasing certain musical works, sports players being fined for verbally abusing referees, or employees being prevented from making social media posts that relate to their employer or industry.
